I’m not into resolutions much. I’m more of a goals kind of guy.

Here are a few goals. These are mainly being driven by some situations at work, some of which I am not at liberty to discuss in a public forum. By that I mean legally prohibited (personnel issues). Bottom line, I will have put in enough time to be able to retire a year from now. I don’t know that I will want to then, but I want to have the freedom to exercise that option.

So, here are  few that relate to this blog.

First, I’m going to up the writing across the board, with an emphasis on fiction writing. I want to increase the amount of writing I do on the blog. More importantly though, I want to get some fiction out there for sale and try to develop an income stream of two. I’ll announce new releases here. I’m not going to rush the next project. I want to take my time and do it right. My goal is to have it out by the end of the month.

I need to give the blog a facelift. There are some features that are out of date and some that need to be added.

My reading was rather minimal last year. I got in the bad habit a few years ago of trying to juggle multiple books at once. That didn’t work well at all. I’ve got a number of titles sitting around partially finished. I’m going to make a conscious effort to to finish everything I start unless there is a good reason for not doing so. This is especially true of short story collections. One possible benefit for doing this will be that I buy fewer books. I’m out of space (and money).

I’ll be providing more details and updates as the year rolls along. 2020Too is looking to be another repeat of 2020 (hence the name), so all of the above is preliminary.
