I’m going to try something a little different for the next week and see what happens. I’ve got some Christmas stories I’m going to post, some by me alone and a couple that are collaborations. This is going to be the first one. I’m going to post a link where you can purchase the story if you wish to read it on a device such as an ereader rather than a web page. I’ll remove the stories from the blog sometime between Christmas and New Year’s. The links to purchase will stay up after the stories are removed.
This s the first one, about a group you don’t want to go caroling with.
Here’s the link to purchase.

Fortunately for me, Christmas is a season, so I usually do my Christmas ghost story after Christmas day through Epiphany. I read this one last night and loved it. This is my kind of ghost story. I like all kinds, but this type of ghost story is among my favorite. You did a really nice job with the background reveal to the story along the way and I really enjoyed the change in perspectives throughout the story. More specifically, the manner in which you handle the child’s perspective and the parents’ perspectives were convincing and I could sense the change in tone. You really need to do a print collection of your stories for us old guys who don’t have those new fangled devices and love the feel of a book in their hands!
