I’m completing a nine-week collection course this week. It’s a themed class where I’ll have a collection at the end. The theme is Private Investigators. I’ve got to tweak the cover and do a few other small things, then it should go up for sale. Look for an announcement here soon.
The next collection class is on time travel, and I’ll start it later today.
I’ve also had a couple of other assignments for some shorter courses I’ve been taking. Since time is limited, I’ve chosen to focus on writing that might bring in some income over blogging. But I’m still going to blog. The blogging should pickup over the holidays and classes aren’t in session.
Congratulations & rather interesting news, Keith. Where are these collection courses from?
I am taking them through WMG Publishing. Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch own the company. I uploaded the ebook version of the PI collection onto Amazon last night. The next step is to get ebooks on the other platforms and have a print version. That will happen over the course of this week. I’ll post links when everything is up.
The time travel course started this past week, and my first story assignment is this week. That class will finish, I think, the first week of January. I haven’t looked at a calendar, so I’m not sure.
I’ve also got a friend who said if I will put together a collection of some Christmas stories I’ve done, she’ll put a link to them in her next newsletter. That’s another project I have for this week.
Plus about 100 exams to grade.
Hang in there, Keith!
Thank you.
Good news! I’m already standing in line to buy the print version.
I am making sure there will be print versions.
Hey Keith, this sounds awesome! How goes the progress?
