Today, December 9, is Margaret Brundage’s birthday. She was born in 1900 and passed away in 1976. Since I have a few minutes before I have to start giving final exams (rescheduled due to snow), here are a few of her covers for Weird Tales.

I always thought it interesting that the artist of the semi naked women on the covers of Weird Tales was a woman.
It may not be true, but I heard somewhere that her daughters were among her models.
